MEGANEROCKは、眼鏡の産地である福井県鯖江市に工房を構え、デザインから製造までほぼ全ての行程をMEGANEROCK 雨田氏によって一本一本丁寧に作られてます。 これまでのセルロイド素材ではなく、アセテート素材を用いた新ライン”VECTOR”。 セルロイドとはまた違った発色の良さと透明度が魅力です。何よりセルロイドにはない豊富なカラーバリエーションや柄が無限にあるので、セルロイドとは全く異なる表情を作れます。 テンプル加工はシューティングという方法が主流の中で、手間も時間もかかる“芯張”という最近では珍しい加工方法を採用し、中に入れる芯もMEGANEROCKのロゴでもある矢印の形になっており、細やかな部分にもこだわりが見られます。クリングス付のノーズパッドはフィット感が良くずれにくい為、長時間の着用も疲れを感じさせません。 *レンズ交換はお近くの眼鏡屋さんで入れていただけます。 ーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーー Based in Sabae, Fukui Prefecture, the heart of Japan’s eyewear craftsmanship, MEGANEROCK produces each pair of glasses with meticulous care — from design to manufacturing — all handcrafted by Mr. Amada, the brand’s founder and artisan. Acetate offers a different kind of beauty — vivid coloration, high transparency, and a virtually unlimited range of colors and patterns, creating expressions that are completely distinct from celluloid. While most temples today are made using a mass-production “shooting” method, MEGANEROCK chooses the rare and time-intensive “shimbari” (core insertion) technique. The core itself is shaped like an arrow — the brand’s logo — reflecting attention to detail even in places you can’t easily see. The adjustable nose pads with “clings” ensure a secure, comfortable fit that stays in place, allowing for extended wear without discomfort. Lenses can be replaced at your local optician.
